Garden Vegetable and Rosemary Chocolate Chip Scones

This weekend I had the chance to make a baked good (or two!) for a fundraiser to benefit Green Acres Farm Sanctuary near Portland, Oregon.  My family and I have volunteered at this particular sanctuary a couple times, and look forward to helping out many more times as my daughter gets older.  It is a great opportunity for us to get outside, visit with the farm animals, and give back to the local community.

So the tough part...what was I going to make?  The options were endless, but I thought it would be a good idea to make something sweet and something savory.  And scones...who doesn't like scones?!  I decided to make Garden Vegetable Scones and sweet Rosemary Chocolate Chip scones, to offer a variety of flavors.  I'm very happy with the way both of these turned out and hope that they help to raise money for the much deserved farm animal sanctuary!
